I've really come to despise New Years' Resolutions. I've never been a person to make one...if I think I need to change something, I do it then. I don't wait till the beginning of the year. The thing that has come to annoy me is that everyone seems to resolve to go to the gym (most likely to loose a few pounds) but it's really not fair to crowd up the gym like that. I'm there all year round. Every year, the entire month of January it's impossible to get around the gym. WAY too many people (and some crazy smells I might add). I wouldn't mind it if these new people knew what they were doing. But they keep pushing buttons on the machines, screwing with the tv's and taking too long on the weight machines. It really slows down my workout...not to mention my favorite: waiting for a shower. It's enough to keep me from going. The only fun part is watching the new people. They stick out like a soar thumb and I often just shake my head with a grin. It's only a tiny silver lining...oh how I long for February.
